In Tom's memory, his family created the Tom Coyne Scholarship in 2021. The scholarship is to help support members of the RC community who have a passion for fine arts. Tom Coyne, Class of 1972, remembers his years at Roselle Catholic for the outstanding education very fondly, the values instilled and the friendships formed. Having earned a reputation as one of the most influential and respected engineers in the music industry, Tom was awarded ten GRAMMYs for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Engineered Album for his work with Adele, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, Sam Smith, and Beck. He also won two Latin GRAMMYs for Record of the Year with Marc Anthony and Best Engineered Album with Juanes. Tom is probably best known for his wonderful sense of humor, even in the face of adversity. He liked nothing more than to spend time with his family and good friends, laughing and enjoying a great meal.

Meet Mariem and Fati, two brave little girls from Mauritania born conjoined at the head, one of the rarest birth conditions in the world. Specialized care wasn't available in their home country so Justice Health Initiative (JHI) brought them to Boston, providing everything from visas and travel to housing, meals, and life-saving medical care. Now, they are preparing for their final surgery to be separated. Your support will help fund the next chapter of their journey: rehabilitation, recovery, and a safe return home to Mauritania with the care they need to thrive.

However you raise a glass, Cheers Collective turns it into impact. A few of the ways people fundraise:
Fundraising for a marathon, half, or 5K? Turn training milestones and race-week celebrations into donations — friends pledge per drink instead of clicking your donation link six times.
Rally supporters around a campaign, ballot initiative, or advocacy group. Every round raised at the bar becomes money for the movement.
Raise a glass for someone you have lost. Every drink supports their memorial fund, scholarship, or the cause they cared about.
Skip the gifts. Ask friends to pledge per drink for a cause you love and turn your birthday into real impact.
Make the weekend count — turn the celebration’s drinks into donations for a cause the whole group can rally behind.
Sports leagues, alumni groups, and company happy hours can fundraise together — every event and every round adds up.
Cheers Collective is a social fundraising platform where you pledge a dollar amount per drink and log drinks with friends to raise money for a cause. It turns everyday social moments — nights out, parties, and celebrations — into donations for causes that matter.
Pick a cause, set how much you will pledge per drink (for example $1, $5, or $10), then log each drink in the app. Your pledges add up toward the cause over time, and you settle up by donating directly to the charity.
